Welcome to Bethel International Church today! We hope you will enjoy your time here and be refreshed, encouraged, and renewed while we worship God together and hear what His words says to us. Over the past two Sundays, Pastor Rainer’s messages were about working together as the Church of Jesus Christ. “When we know the common purpose of glorifying God, we work together to achieve it using the abilities we have been given”. And in Ephesians 5:14 there is a call to people to awaken out of a spiritual slumber so that the light of Jesus can have maximum effectiveness in exposing darkness: “Wake up O sleeper, rise from the dead and Christ will shine on you”. The shining of Christ light in the world happens through the Church, who is called “children of the light” (Ephesians 5:8). How then can the Church serve God’s purpose in shining Christ’s light? By working together in unity. Jesus said “you are the light of the world” and “a city on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14). Light burns brighter when there are many together working in unison. Let’s continue to let God shape us so we, the Church of Jesus, can achieve maximum brilliance in today’s world. PM
