TRUTH REQUIRES US to face reality—to see things the way they really are. Grace enables us to deal with the truth that we see. Without grace we cannot handle the truth; without truth we do not understand our need for grace. Jesus came to planet earth to be the manifestation of both. He came because as human beings we needed to be reminded of the reality that we are created in the image of God, we have been corrupted by sin and we face an eternity separated from the God who created us. But Jesus also came to be the incarnation of the good news that God still loves us and by his mercy and grace has provided a means of reconciliation with us so that we can forever be in fellowship with God. In the final chapters of the bible we read: “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.” (Revelation 21:3) This is what God is working toward and took a giant step toward that goal when he sent his Son. Let us embrace the Saviour who brings both grace and truth to our needy hearts. As the scripture says, “…to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12)

Despite our efforts to keep him out, God intrudes.
The life of Jesus is bracketed by two impossibilities:
a virgin's womb and an empty tomb.
Jesus entered our world through a door marked "No Entrance" and
left through a door marked "No Exit."
(Peter Larson)

We want to wish everyone the Love, Joy and Peace of Christmas and
a New Year filled with Hope and
the Abundant Life that flows from the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,
who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
(John 1:14)
